Privacy Policy
How Play Game Box handles account, device, gameplay, analytics and feedback data.
Information we collect
If you create an optional account, we store your email address, nickname, password hash, session information and favorites. We never store your plain-text password.
When the site is used, our servers may receive IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, game identifiers, loading duration, gameplay start events, search activity, error details and feedback you submit. A randomly generated client identifier may be stored in your browser to distinguish visits without identifying you by name.
Browser storage and game saves
Language choice, recently opened games, the anonymous client identifier and supported game saves may be stored locally in your browser. Game progress is not attached to your Play Game Box account. Clearing site data can remove local settings and saves.
How we use information
We use this information to operate accounts and favorites, load games, remember preferences, measure site reliability, understand which games are useful, investigate failures, respond to feedback and protect the service from abuse.
Sharing and third-party games
We do not sell personal information. Infrastructure providers may process limited data for hosting, security, delivery and database operation. Some games may contain third-party code or request external resources; their own privacy practices may apply when those services are contacted.
Retention and choices
Operational logs and feedback are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics and service improvement. Browser data can be removed through your browser settings. You may use the site without creating an account, although favorites linked to an account will be unavailable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The date on this page identifies the current version.
