Move all tiles in one direction with the arrow keys or a swipe. Equal adjacent numbers merge once per move. Keep space for the next tile and build larger values together instead of scattering them around the board.

The standard four-by-four board is one continuous puzzle, not a numbered campaign. Reaching 2048 wins; the Keep going option lets you pursue larger tiles. A full board without a legal merge ends the run.
